Style blog for The Ms. Collection

Ah Spring – when a man’s thoughts turn to love and a woman’s to ……. clothes.  A change in season causes all sorts of wardrobe chaos and concern.  Do not fear though, because we have the tips to see you through the Spring 2015 Fashion minefield.

Spring 2015 Fashion Trends took many forms that we don’t really think will stick – yes apron skirt we’re looking at you – but the looks that will see you through Spring and Summer this year are :

The color yellow – well featured at Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta and Delpozo.

Gingham and checks – ahem, “check” out Michael Kors, Diane Von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta and Ashish.

Lots of denim in all styles – retro, preppy, boyfriend – nicely done at Prada, Gucci, Ashish (who have the best statement jeans of the season), Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry (for some gorgeous denim jackets) and Michael Kors.

More retro inspired denim.

A flowy Talitha Getty inspired maxi worn by Kendall Jenner and captured to perfection at Erdem and Pucci.

A longer line suede or leather coat, fringe vest or suede bomber jacket (again check out what’s available at Saint Laurent, Derek Lam, Prada and Gucci for inspiration).

Spring 2015 Fashion Trends will also continue to focus on accessories, such as this year’s “it” bucket bag shown on the below right. For the most covetable bags, you need look no further than the usual suspects of Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo and Michael Kors.  Everyone has an opinion on which bags are the best, but we like this post by Purse Blog.

So, for Spring 2015, you only need to channel your inner 70’s rock chick, grab some denim and suede, slip into the embellished platforms, pop your phone in your bucket bag, and swagger out the door. Groovy baby.
